Not only is the language updated, but Georg Dehn, the compiler and editor, has sourced his work from all extant manuscripts, whereas Mathers used just one. Dehn also consulted the rare irst published version of bokk work, released under the pseudonym Peter Hammer in Cologne in and known to the members of Fraternitas Saturni, a German offshoot of the Ordo Templi Orientis.
