Some very interesting insights into acting and how to help young actors. Count the wins and losses. The absolute must read for actors. Hopefully, this would eventually lead to performing in accordance with all of the guideposts after practicing enough. May 20, Michael Padilla rated it it was amazing. If you miss the events, nothing will happen. But it feels formulaic and I worry that strict adherence to these guidelines would lead to performers that are too caught up in their heads.
For me, I have referred back to this book to help me get into a good acting mindset.

Great book for acting with good information, my only problem was that some of the print on some words was missing which left you guessing what the word was supposed to be which then turned into more of an improv excercise.

Got this book as a companion to a class I took bj a local theater on prepping for auditioning. It is, by far, the best book on acting I’ve ever read. This book is straightforward, it’s no-nonsense, it might inspire you, it might even change your whole career.
