You get the idea. Return to Book Page. I have to make a confession here I don’t think it is a necessity to have read the previous books to be able to read this one, lorelei james always does a great job in fleshing out bj characters so they can be read as standalone books in my opinion.

When the notoriously hot-tempered and hot-bodied Keely begs him for help, he proposes a crazy idea. I really liked both of the character’s in this book Keely is a former wild child who wants to prove that it is all behind her or is it. The committee overseeing this project is very conventional and traditional and Jack’s lack of marital status is an impediment. That means I loved this book to pieces and to be honest I couldn’t wait to read it.

Jack is not only her match but has secretly wanted Keely all along.

She is who she is and does not make apologies for her life or how she chooses to lead it. It had everything that I love about a romance no matter the genre. Jack suggests a trade-off. She was as wild and crazy as any of her brothers or cousins. Hacked there ever be a Lorelei James book that doesn’t make me cry in the end?

All Jacked Up (Rough Riders #8) by Lorelei James

You submitted the following rating and review. The lone girl in the prolific McKay family, Keely needs another man giving zll orders like she needs a hole in her boot. I love reading this series this book was well written like the other books in this series with no errors in grammar or spelling.

Jack wants the job overseeing a large restoration project in Utah, but the owners have lorrlei morality issues. She wants to rehab it and open a medical center. All Jacked Up is a treat to read from start to finish. View all 5 comments. The title should be at least 4 characters long. Their relationship is so much fun as they bicker and fight the attraction they have one another. This is an outstanding book! Keely and Jack’s constant bantering was so funny and interesting to read.

The only thing you make me want to do is punch you in the face.

Jack Donohue was a total contradiction. Jack, 34, is the total opposite of down-home country gal Keely. The focus on the hero and heroine was refreshing and their issues were worked through thoroughly, slowly and believably. Fantastic Jack and Keely hate each other. Each scene peels another layer of their defenses away, revealing the happy couple buried far beneath.

A certified arch 4. Who wouldn’t want to find out more about the Mckay Family and what they have been up to. And unlike a lot of contemporary romances where the heat level is high, the evolution of their relationship is not based solely on sex. Confident, yet not overtly cocky. I do feel that the story falters a bit in the second half, and I wasn’t crazy about Keely’s whole “gang of brothers”.

All told, I found this to be the strongest book in the series. To view it, click here.

I loved this book, but i didnt love it as much as some of the others. One they couldn’t stand each other and were polar opposites in every way. Thanks for telling us about the problem.

That, however, is not the case with this installment. I loved the plot, I loved the characters, and I love the way it all turned out. Some who have read the book don’t seem to like the mentioning the whole cast of characters, but I liked it. Yes No Thanks for your feedback! View all 10 comments. Jack’s b-day is April 4th and Keely’s is May 23rd. But with this book we also get to see Jack’s vulnerable side. yb

I knew I was going to loose that joy of just having completed reading a fantastic story. They had a short tryst at Colt and India’s wedding reception but the way that ended just made things worse.
