People in France generally either hate this guy and his I franxs tried at other French books, but most french literature is way over intellectualized and thus falls short of actually being intellectual. You say you started writing this autobiography in your head when you were arrested for cocaine abuse on the street.
The problem is that the more outrageous his behaviour, the stronger his position in the ad world. An Insatiable Craving for Book… on.
I started out wanting to hate this book, expecting general emptiness, style triumphing over substance, verbal fireworks without meaning, one joke lasting the whole pages, but it’s hard to deny the central premise: And Octave shows us what happens behind the curtains in the advertising world. The structure is original, each chapter is written in a different personal pronoun.
